Haute Cuisine

Hello everyone, I hope your weekend was wonderful.
I just had to share this fascinating culinary experience with you. Hovering like some misdirected shipping container high on the Paris skyline above the Palais de Tokyo, Nomiya is the latest in the line of Art Home.
This temporary prefab structure, designed by brothers Laurent and Pascal Grasso, was scheduled to stand for just 12 months, but due to popular demand, sponsors Electrolux have extended its residency until June 2011.
A party of only 12 diners at a time can experience the privileged vantage point overlooking the Seine, quai Branly and the Eiffel Tower.
However, a trigger finger on your mouse is required to secure a precious booking.
If you miss the opportunity to dine by the dozen, free tours and cooking workshops are also offered. Click here for bookings.

I hope this has inspired you to try something different this week.
xx

  1. I think it is extraordinary! So much so, I had to show it to my husband (he is an architect). Impossible not to admire the idea itself, the light, the structure...Thank you for sharing!:-)
