I've been a little lamp obsessed the past week ...
I have been searching for the perfect lamp for my husbands study (birthday present) and finally decided on La Lampe Gras 206.
It was designed by the frenchman, Bernard-Albin Gras in 1921, and doesn't use neither screws nor welded joints in its basic form.
It was also famously used by Le Corbusier, Eileen Gray, Robert Mallet-Stevens, Emile Jacque Ruhlmann to name a few.

What a perfect lamp for your husband's desk.....no-one has designed a better or more practical desk lamp and it is aesthetically pleasing as well.
