My side of the bed ...By Caroline Runge in Sylt, Germany

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend ... it's a bank holiday here in the UK and it's so nice to get an extra day!

Last week on 'My side of the Bed' we looked at Caroline's bedroom in London and this week we are jetting over to Sylt, Germany to take a look at her side of the bed in her beautiful holiday home ...

This is the view that Caroline has of the old lighthouse and the thatched cottages from her bedroom window

What's on my side of the bed ....

" The night tables are from Maxalto and the night table lamps from an interior design shop here on the island. I love the golden colour on the inside of the shade, which gives the light a nice warm glow and the texture of the base.
The headboard is made from a cream faux leather and the wall colour has been recreated by my decorators from the shade of an Essie Nail colour, as I could not find the shade that I wanted anywhere else. Actually, I mixed different colours until I had the shade, and they scanned it in to get to that colour.
On the table: Alarm clock, water glass, lip cream (not particular to any brand, it just needs to be very nourishing), books, and a scented candle (Amber from Henri Bendell in New York, my favourite one, - well, together with the one from Hotel Costes, Paris).
On the shelves next to my side of the bed, more books and magazines as well as a bit of pottery (the 2 greyish bowls come from an open day in the art depot - (http://www.cockpitarts.com/) - their open day is worth a visit! "

What a gorgeous bedroom Caroline!
I'm in love with the colourful vase on the shelf as well as the beautiful lamp on your side table. Thank you for sharing your beautiful holiday home with us all.
Sylt is an island in northern Germany and is well known for the distinctive shape of it's shoreline. It is known for it's tourist resorts, as well as it's 40 km long sandy beach!

  5. I've been surfing online more than 2 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
It's pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did,
the internet will be a lot more useful than ever before.
