London Fashion Week

As London Fashion week hits London today, I was a very proud mum last night watching my middle daughter strut her thing down the catwalk at her schools fashion show. It was a wonderful evening showcasing some of the girls own original creations as well as the local high street fashion houses.

Looking forward to seeing what Londons best designers will showcase!

As you can see from these images, lucite furniture creates a sense of space in any interior.

I love the fact that it doesn't take up much visual space and that acrylic furniture doesn't make the room feel cluttered. There have been technological changes in plexi/lucite that prevents it from fogging up also, so its a wonderful material for designers to use.

However, lucite in moderation is the key!

I'm not a huge fan of Valentines Day ... I like the spontaneity of romance to happen whenever and where ever. So I am calling this Monday "my day" ... just like the cute little quote above.

To bath or not?

I love the idea of a bath tub in my bedroom.

Back home in Australia we own an old Victorian mansion that doesn't have an en-suite off the master bedroom ... this might actually work quite well (if we ever go back home to finish renovating it!)
