Cascading green foliage ...
London is so green at the moment, maybe it's because we've had a bit of rain recently ... or maybe because it's always green!
That's what I love about London, even if you live in a very built up urban area, you will be guaranteed to find a bit of green just around the corner ... whether it be the large local common or heath or a small privately owned gated communal garden.
Above is a watercolour painting I did recently, showing a little snippet of our house in London.
It's the teenagers TV room leading out to the garden, with the balcony from the master bedroom on top.
We are lucky to live in a private cul-de-sac with the house backing onto a golf course. We cant actually see it, as there is a very green, wooded area in front. However, every time I look out from a window or french door ... it is so green!
I'm still persevering with watercolour painting ... I won't let it defeat me!
Wishing you all a happy weekend.
xx
p.s If you are in London,
don't miss the Watercolour exhibition at the Tate Modern.
I was there yesterday and it was magnificent!
It runs until 21 August 2011.
What a gorgeous painting. You're so very talented, Marina.

ReplyDeleteOh, please don't give up your artwork, Marina. This piece is delightful and so full of your personality. Creativity, as I've said many times, is a divine release for our souls, minds, hearts to find respite from the real world. Don't lose it.
