Twas the Day before Christmas ...

We were wishing for a white christmas,

but maybe not!

Here's hoping that the stranded make it home for Christmas,

fingers crossed.

The shopping's all done, the gifts all wrapped,

I can't wait to spend quality time

with my family in London.

My kinda christmas tree ...

This is the kind of tree decorating I like to do...

When we lived in Australia we used to spend Christmas at our beach house, see previous post here, and then we would go out hunting for a tree, not too dissimilar to the one in the photo.

I would place it on a large round, white concrete, resin table in our foyer and decorate it with silver and blue baubles ...

... the simplicity of it all ...

Monday is just about over ... I know I'm a little late getting this post out today, but just had to share these lovely images.

Gold always seems to make everything just glimmer ... from matt gold gilded mirrors to glitter gold eyeshadow. I always love to add gold to my holiday decorating ...

Also, the happiest of birthday wishes to my darling baby girl who celebrated her birthday today ... you are one of my 3 golden stars.
